Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) provides a unified language for communication between business user and business analyst. BPMN does not provide any methodology about how to perform business process modeling. In this course, we will introduce a very common business process modeling approach for process improvement and process re-engineering projects. This course will cover following business process modeling techniques:

1. Frame the process – define mission, goal and strategy in beginning of the project
2. As-is process modeling – visualize existing workflow by business process diagram
3. To-be process modeling – develop target business workflow to achieve the goal of the project

We are not just given high-level description of the business process modeling but also include demonstration and hands on session. Following hands on sessions are included in this training course:
1. Organize business process diagram by “Model” element
2. Frame business process by process map diagram
3. Develop as-is business process diagram
4. Transit as-is process to to-be process and perform to-be process modeling
5. Compare as-is process and to-be process diagrams
At the end of the training course, we will demonstrate precede from business process modeling to requirement capturing by transiting to-be process to use case modeling.
